We have gone against the race for travel by favouring sensitivity on small and medium shocks (the shocks that are tiring to ride), we assume that large obstacles are easy to handle as opposed to degraded surfaces, so the titanium swingarm ensures a certain natural restraint and allows inflation pressures of more than 2 times lessthan traditional suspension bikes.
This design allows you to ride with a SAG between 20 and 30% with incredible efficiency. The bike has no linkage or bearing joints, flexibility is provided by the 6.4 titanium plate at the rear of the bottom bracket and by the titanium valves on the seatstays which provide vertical flexibility for the shock/seatstay assembly to work on axis. The foot of the shock absorber is set in an aluminium cylinder and then force-fitted into the gusset plate welded to the top of the shrouds, thus ensuring a very rigid assembly.
The rear travel is 85 mm.The SEMITA is entirely made to measure in 3/2.5 and 6.4 titanium depending on the area of the frame. The choice of tubes and standards depends on the customer’s choice, practice and morphology.The SEMITA can be fitted to all sizes of wheels, seatposts (rigid/telescopic) and head tubes.A bare frame, size M equivalent, weighs 2000Gr.
